NOTE: Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators reserve the right to change these terms and conditions without notice and for them to be in effect immediately

Terms & Conditions 

 

These terms and conditions are applicable to all customers using Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators services.

Please read and understand them carefully before purchasing an eXperience voucher / open gift voucher, making a booking or redeeming a pre-purchased eXperience voucher / open gift voucher.

Purchasing a flight simulator eXperience voucher or open gift vouchers

 

All flight simulator eXperience vouchers / open gift vouchers are valid for 12 calendar months from the date of purchase and are not redeemable for any other service or value.

Flight simulator eXperience vouchers / open gift vouchers are fully transferable between persons and can be upgraded to a higher package at the time of booking your flight simulator eXperience.

Should you decide to cancel your flight simulator eXperience voucher / open gift voucher then you can do this up to 14 days from the date of purchase. An administrative fee of £25 will be applicable. All cancelled gift vouchers become void.

Note: that all open gift vouchers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion or offer.

Postal dispatch

 

Our personalised gift packs are posted out First Class using Royal Mail. If you require your personalised gift pack  sooner than this, you can request special delivery for an additional fee. Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators  cannot be held liable for any items that are lost or delayed due to the postal service.

Voucher expiry date

 

Flight simulator eXperience vouchers / open gift vouchers must be booked and completed prior to the expiry date printed on the voucher. Beyond this date the voucher will cease to be valid. If your flight simulator eXperience voucher / open gift voucher is due to expire and you are unable to find a suitable date in the diary within the expiry date you can extend your voucher expiry date for a further two months for a fee of £25.


 

Restrictions on participation

 

These terms and conditions are applicable to all customers using Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators services. Please read and understand them carefully before purchasing a voucher, making a booking or redeeming a pre-purchased voucher. Flight simulator eXperiences involve a degree of physical mobility and may not be suitable for some people. Please check with us at the time of booking if you have any concerns. In all cases, all participants will be supervised by a Flight Instructor who will be seated in the right hand seat. All participants must:

 

  • Be 7 years of age or older to use the (FBS) Fixed Base Simulators.

  • Be 12 years of age or older to use the (FFS) Full Flight Simulators / Full Motion level A.

  • Be 18 years of age or older to use the (FTD) & (FFS) Full Flight Simulators / Full Motion level D. 

  • Be accompanied by a person over 18 years of age if under the age of 18.

  • Be in good health and free from heart, back or neck problems, motion sickness, pregnancy or other conditions that could be aggravated by the simulator.  Pacemakers etc. are perfectly OK. If you suffer from colour blindness, you can still fly the simulators although some instruments may be more difficult to read.

  • Be dressed appropriately in comfortable smart casual clothing and flat shoes.

  • Not be under the influence / suspected influence of drugs or alcohol.

  • Not bring any food, drinks or other banned substance into the simulators.

  • Smoking or Vaping is not allowed. 

  • All participants take part at their own risk.


 

Prices

 

Prices displayed on our website are correct to the best of our knowledge and are the most up-to-date. Prices advertised in leaflets and magazines may differ to prices on the website depending upon the date of the publication. We reserve the right to honour the prices advertised in publications other than those listed on our website.


 

Guests

 

All participants are permitted to bring a guest to share their flight eXperience. The guest can sit in the ‘jump seat’ which is situated behind the Captains seat in the cockpit of the simulator where available. Children under the age of 16 should be supervised by a non-flying adult. Other guests are welcome to wait in the reception area for the customer to complete the flight.


 

Guest Behaviour

We sincerely hope you will enjoy your eXperience with us. We try to offer a realistic viewpoint of a professional pilots work and we reserve the right to cancel any session where the instructor is unhappy with the attitude and behaviour of the participants with no refund due.


 

Security / Proof of Identity

 

Because our flight simulators are so realistic and mindful of their use post 9-11, you may be required by to provide proof of your identity. If we request it prior to your visit, please bring a piece of photo ID, either your passport or driving license, when you come for your flight eXperience.

 

We may have to share customer Full name and Nationality with Boeing Flight Technical Services as part of a required security process.


 

Cancellations and rescheduling of bookings

 

If you have a booking in the diary you are required to give 48 hours notice if you wish to cancel or change the booking or the gift voucher becomes void.

 

Revalidation of a gift voucher after booking which has become void will be at the discretion of Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators and subject to a revalidation fee of £25 pounds.

 

A full refund for any reason is offered up to 14 days after purchase, however a £25 pound cancellation fee will be deducted from the original purchase price. After 14 days refunds will only be given in exceptional circumstances and at the discretion of Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators.

 

Please note that strictly no refunds are offered for the following:

 

Technical faults – another day will be organised for you, if postponed on the day we usually offer additional time free of charge.

 

Instructor illness – whilst we will endeavour to find a replacement instructor this is not always possible, you will then be offered another date.

 

Unusual crisis, unusual weather or act of God – In exceptional circumstances it may be necessary to postpone bookings en-mass, under these circumstances, and once the crisis has passed, another date will be offered. However for any delay beyond 7 days we will freeze the validity date and extend it for the same amount of time as the business is closed.

 

Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators is not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by customers or their guests due to cancellation or postponement of an eXperience.

Simulator availability

 

If Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators is unable to provide a booked flight simulator session due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to simulator failure, we will do our upmost to offer participants an alternative date subject to Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators discretion and simulator availability.

 

If the flight simulator eXperience is reduced in whole or in part due to late arrival, motion sickness or toilet breaks, Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators will not reschedule the flight or provide a refund for time not used in the simulator. If there are technical problems with the simulator that the instructor feels significantly reduce the quality and duration of the experience then the participant will have their time in the simulator increased or offered an alternative date to complete their flight.

 

By purchasing or redeeming a flight simulator eXperience voucher / open gift voucher, you acknowledge that the simulator session is dependent on certain factors beyond the control of Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators and agree that Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators shall not be liable for the cancellation, postponement or alteration of any simulator session for reasons beyond our reasonable control including for weather-related reasons, mechanical failure, location changes or otherwise. The total liability of Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators for any claim whatsoever in connection with the simulator session shall be limited to the price paid for the flight simulator eXperience voucher / open gift voucher.

Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators is not liable for any travel or accommodation costs incurred by customers or their guests due to cancellation or postponement of an eXperience.


 

Video or Camera Malfunction

 

We take every possible measure to ensure all our critical equipment is kept serviceable which includes our filming and video production facility. However from time to time this equipment does malfunction and whilst we understand this may be extremely frustrating, this will not stop us from being able to provide you with a complete flight simulator eXperience. Therefore if upon arrival you find the video or camera facility to be inoperable we will provide a refund for only the video or photograph, you will not be offered a refund on the actual flight simulator eXperience or other ad-ons that you might have purchased, neither will we rebook the session for another day. However, a full refund for the full price of the Video or photo will be provided.


 

Inclusivity

 

We welcome the participation of disabled people in our simulators, though we recognise that certain disabilities may present difficulties. We will inform of any particular difficulties to the best of our knowledge at time of enquiry. We are committed to ensuring that disabled customers are given every opportunity to participate, so we ask that you tell us about any relevant disability at the time of enquiry. This enables us to do our best to meet the participant’s particular needs. We will be happy to provide information about any disabled facilities on request.


 

Complaints

 

We welcome your feedback or any constructive criticism. If you have a problem, issue, query or complaint during your visit, please bring it to our attention on the day as soon as possible, so that we have a chance to put matters right. If your problem is not resolved on the day, please contact our Customer Service department in writing or by email within 3 days of your flight simulator eXperience, stating your voucher reference, participant name and all booking details, and we will be happy to look in to the matter. In general, we consider it unreasonable if you take no action on the day, but then make a complaint at a later date.


 

Car Park

 

Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators shall not be held liable for any accident, loss or theft from the car park.


 

Contract

 

This booking forms, our rules, regulations and these terms and conditions shall form the entire contract for the provision of flight simulator eXperiences by V1 Aerospace Flight Simulators Limited trading and operating as Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators . By placing any bookings, purchasing of vouchers and/or usage of the flight simulator, you hereby agree to abide by the rules, regulations and terms and conditions of the flight simulator eXperiences provided by Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators .


 

Legal

 

The customer will not hold Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators responsible for any personal injury, death, loss or damage to property or inconvenience unless caused by gross negligence by one of Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators officers, agents, employees.

 

The customer accepts that it must comply with all safety demonstrations and simulator rules and safety procedures. Where the customer does not comply, the customer shall accept all responsibility and may be liable for any injury to self or others, loss or damage to property or inconvenience.

 

The customer accepts that subsequent damage to a simulator by taking any food/drink or banned substance into the simulator will result in the customer being liable for any damage.

 

The customer does not hold the right to distribute, copy or re sell any training manual, course structure or intellectual property of Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators to any third party.

 

Any costs the customer incurs from travel or accommodation will not be reimbursed or subsidised by Aerospace eXperience Flight Simulators for any reason whatsoever. This includes any cancellation or change to simulator training times as required by simulator or instructor availability.
